You’re doing your best, but something still feels off. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family discord, stress at work, religious disconnect, difficulty meaningfully engaging in friendships, intergenerational trauma, or the stress of navigating systemic oppression, you might be wondering: can therapy actually help me? I believe it can- and that it should meet you where you are, with care, nuance, and respect for your full humanity.
As a therapist, I strive to create an empathetic, kind, and compassionate space for my clients to explore their challenges and work toward healing. My practice centers clients whose experiences are often overlooked or pathologized in mainstream therapy. I work with individuals and couples -including those in monogamous and ethically non-monogamous relationships- offering a space where your lived experience is honored and your healing is possible.
Clients come to me for support with anxiety, depression, trauma/intergenerational trauma, relational issues, sex/intimacy, disordered eating and body image concerns, grief, identity exploration, and the weight of systemic injustice.
My approach is shaped by an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens, is culturally attuned, and grounded in decolonial and critical values. I see therapy not as fixing what’s broken, but as a guide in reconnecting you to your strength, story, and capacity for change. I welcome LGBTQIA2+, racialized, newcomer, and neurodivergent folks. Let’s explore how I can support the changes you’re hoping to make. Book a consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
My Clinical Modalities Include:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Attachment Theory Somatic Therapy Narrative Therapy Anti-Oppressive Practice Culturally-Attuned Care
For Couples/Relational Therapy, I use a unique blend of Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and IFS for Couples.
